Just days ahead of them releasing their highly anticipated new album, Fontaines D.C. have dropped a cinematic single 'Where Is Gone?', which sees them join forces with Rosalía.
The song is the latest to be shared ahead of the band's upcoming fifth album 'Dopamine Chamber', following on from lead single 'Marianne' and eerie track 'Tongue'.
The album is the follow-up to 2024's acclaimed and Mercury-nominated 'Romance', and set for release on Friday

English synth-pop duo Erasure has released a new single, "Wings of Love," the first song from their forthcoming studio album, "Radio!! Radio!!," due out March 12 of next year.
Andy Bell and Vince Clarke also confirmed a UK and European arena tour for April and May 2027, with Ladytron as special guest on the UK and Ireland dates.
"Radio!! Radio!!" is Erasure's first new studio album in six years, following 2022's "Day-Glo (Based on a True Story)," and arrives as the duo marks 40 years since their 1986 debut!

U2 has announced the release of Carnaval De Luz - their 16th studio album and the first of new material from the band in nine years - coming out on November 13th. The news comes with a brand new track entitled "Silencio,".
Recorded all over the place, and produced by Jacknife Lee, Carnaval De Luz is a collection of 12 songs exploring themes of spirituality, friendship, freedom and endurance in the face of dark, encroaching forces.
Sonically, there are echoes of the band's most experimental work combined with some strict songwriting in the shape of "The Greatest Show On Earth," "Glorify" and "Midnight Sunshine," as well as the 2mins 35second homage to early surf-punk insolence that is "Silencio."

Queens Of The Stone Age have dropped their new single, "Where The Goth Girls At".
The song serves as the third preview of Josh Homme and co's ninth studio album, 'Perfecth', which is to be released on October 30.
Homme drew inspiration for the nostalgic track from his youth in a Palm Desert suburb, and reflects on themes of teen romance and the desire to impress others.
'Perfecth' follows on from QOTSA's acclaimed 2023 album 'In Times New Roman'. The new record's title comes from the concept that "perfect" as a word has never been honest and doesn't exist, so Homme created a more fitting word.
"Nothing in this world is perfect, but everything seems to be 'perfecth'," he said in a statement. "And that title is funny when you're in a group, but it ain't so funny when you're alone."
'Perfecth' contains nine songs, tackling different forms of love, and exploring "family, friends, and others both significant and insignificant".

CHVRCHES have shared their comeback single "Roses" after returning from a pause of five years. And, it has now premiered as the Hottest Record on BBC Radio 1!
Band frontwoman Lauren Mayberry said: "This is the longest break we had ever taken between albums and when we got together to write new music, we wanted to really push ourselves and not be retreading ground we'd walked before," said Mayberry.
"I really think we achieved that. It feels like the most coherent vision we've had as a band. We're excited to be back!"

The 4-time Grammy-winning family band draws from their unique and storied history in their most personal album to date.

John Legend has released a new single, "Daylight", from his upcoming LP "Muse".
Muse, set for an Oct. 23 release on Republic Records — and written and recorded at Pharrell's studio at Louis Vuitton's headquarters, where he's men's creative director — had John Legend looking beyond evergreen piano standards and into a "Black James Bond aesthetic, but with a modern backbeat at its foundation."
Pharrell produced the entire album. He's also a co-writer, and he's a featured artist on six tracks.
Muse's title is in part inspired by the nine Muses in ancient Greek mythology.
"There are plenty of artists who get to a point in their career where they don't make anything new. We can just play the hits; we can stay in our comfort zone. But I believe it's important to keep the mindset that I have to continue to prove myself. I wanted this album to have that sense of urgency — to feel like something that needed to be made and is fully worthy of my audience's attention," Legend says.

The Grammy-winning singer released today her new single, "Bass Persuades," along with an official music video directed by Mert Alas.

Simple Minds today announced their brand new studio album 'Sacrosanct' and released the first single 'Beginner Boys'.
Last year alone they played in front of over 1.5m people and some of their biggest audiences since 1985, on their hugely successful 'Global Tour'. It was during this remarkable period, on a high from touring, they began to craft and record their new album.
'Sacrosanct' is the third, alongside 'Walk Between Worlds' and 'Direction of the Heart', in an emphatic trilogy.
'Beginner Boys', the first single released from the album, is inspired by Kerr watching his twin grandsons grow up and thinking about what it means to raise a good man today — "how strength, tenderness, courage, and gentleness might still belong together, even when the wider culture around them can send mixed signals. It's less a statement than a question I hope they'll spend their lives answering for themselves."
'Sacrosanct' will be released on 29 January 2027.
The release of Sacrosanct coincides with Simple Minds embarking on their biggest arena tour to date, which will begin early February in Australia and New Zealand, before heading to Europe and the UK in April and May.

Olivia Rodrigo has released her new single, "Serena Joy".
The track takes its name from Serena Joy Waterford, a central character in Margaret Atwood's 1985 dystopian novel The Handmaid's Tale.
Serena helps establish the patriarchal and authoritarian regime of Gilead, only to find herself stripped of rights and freedoms by the system she promoted.
Written by Olivia Rodrigo and her longtime collaborator Dan Nigro during sessions for Rodrigo's third studio album, "serena joy" embodies a punk spirit: angst-filled, urgent, and charged with protest energy.
A portion of the net proceeds from "serena joy" will be donated to the Daisy Chain Fields Fund.

Royal Blood, one of the most important British hard rock bands of their generation, return today with an explosive new single 'Ten Over Ten' and announce their long-awaited fifth studio album, 'Dead Company', to be released via Warner Records on 13th November.
The 'Dead Company' LP marks a powerful new chapter for the duo, who last released an album in 2023.

Green Day has announced the "Nimrods" original soundtrack, arriving July 31.
The 30-track album will featuring 22 fan-favorite GREEN DAY songs alongside exclusives including the new GREEN DAY track "I'm Never Gonna R.I.P." and four previously unreleased live recordings from the band's performance at the Palladium in Los Angeles, as featured in the film. The soundtrack also includes songs from THE PARADOX, ULTRA Q and Mckenna Grace, as well as four tracks by ANALOG DOGS, the fictitious band at the center of "Nimrods".
The "Nimrods" film will rock theaters starting on August 14.

Rock superstars U2 today announced the release of a brand-new track titled "Street of Dreams". It is the first song to be taken from the band's new studio album (U2's first in 9 years!) due for release later this year.
Produced by Jacknife Lee, "Street of Dreams" delivers the unmistakable U2 sound created by Bono, The Edge, Adam Clayton and Larry Mullen Jr., who this September will celebrate 50 years since the band's formation after Larry posted a handwritten note which read "Drummer seeks musicians to form band'' on the school noticeboard at Dublin's Mount Temple Comprehensive.
